The Americans are going to eat insects

The American Wayne University in Detroit, held a conference “Eating Insects Detroit: Exploring the Culture of Insects as Food and Feed”, which explored the possibility of using local insects for food. There have been presented freeze-dried crickets, locusts, meal-worms and other edible products of insects. Organizers of pleasure ate these foods and showed it to visitors.

This is great, I can already see the kids all excited when going to MacDonalds to eat the great bug burger, and not only kids…. you guys might as well introduce eating dogs, it´s very popular in China, you can have little place to hold the a chiwawa and they ask the kids wich type of dog do they want to eat. Insects….. If America starts eating like that, I´m going to be crushed. Each culture has its own taste and history, I doubt you guys will end up eating insects. Although in truth they are a great source of protein I know that, but I still prefer a salad or a burger

  2. It is totally a new menu on the table, which I was arguing for with my friends few weeks ago. Besides, poverty of poor countries might be alleviated within the coming 30 to 40 years if they consider this ‘insect and other uncommon food sources’ for the new generation. As far as my generations is concerned, leave it to end its path with what it’s accustomed to. Post by Aleazar Tilahun
