Polar bears, sea elephants, incredible landscapes on ice! Florian Ledoux , photographer Florian Ledoux , has been dedicated to exploring the Arctic and photographing the animals on the ice and especially the polar bear.
Ledoux wants his aerial photographs to talk about the history of the area and wildlife on the frozen North Pole.
As he describes himself, the Arctic has been in his heart since the age of 10 and has now become his home.
“The icy landscape and the incredible species of animals push me there,” he adds.
Ledoux and his colleagues cross the earth and the sky in Iceland, Greenland, Canada and beyond to capture landscape and wildlife.
In 2017, he started looking for polar bears near Canada’s Tremblay Sound. And he managed to identify and immortalize them.
And he says, “These moments are incredible to me, something is happening inside me – it’s a deep atmosphere that absorbs my body and soul. That’s what I’m staying for. When I photograph, I’m somewhere else, “he concludes.
