Poland has a forest of trees bent strangely called the Crooked Forest, and the photographer took some pictures Kilian Schönberger dream of it. The Crooked Forest is outside Nowe Czarnowo, West Pomerania, Poland.
Already in 1930, it was a part of Germany, and that was when the trees won their strangely. Someone or something bend the trunks of trees parallel to the ground at 90 degrees. The theories are that somebody did in an effort to produce bent wood to make furniture or barrel more easily. Others blame witchcraft, magnetic fields, and all kinds of things.
