Most of origami are geometrically regular shape. But the Vietnami artist Hoàng Tiến Quyết creates unusual curved figures. Each of his figure – it is not origami in the usual sense, it is a little sculpture. Artist handles paper with a very small amount of water. It is very important not to overdo it, otherwise the figure would fall apart.
Hoàng Tiến Quyết was born in 1988. He became interested in childhood origami technique. In 2008, he began to invent their own styles and forms, and has co-authored two books on origami in 2011 and 2013. Today, the artist is very popular in many countries worldwide. He is often invited to various international exhibitions of origami in Italy, Germany, France and Japan.
