World’s longest glass skywalk, China

At a height of 1,010 meters, on April 26, 2015 China opened the world’s longest glass skywalk at the Longgang National Geological Park in city of Chongqing. The glass observation bridge measures 26.68 metres in length–five metres longer than the skywalk at the Grand Canyon in the U.S. state of Arizona; making Yuanduan the longest bridge of its kind in the world. The walkway cost the Chinese government 35 million yuan (US$5.6 million) to construct. The bridge is designed to host a maximum of 200 people at one time. The price to stand on the skywalk is 60 yuan, with each visitor allowed to stay on the bridge for 30 minutes. [source]
